Long time ago, in Northern Europe there was a belief that the mighty spirit of Woods was defeated by the spirit of Iron in the beginning of time. His heart was shattered in pieces and got embedded into his beloved trees. But if you bring home pieces of five different trees, the wood spirit gets back to life. He'll become your guardian and bring prosperity and happiness to your house.
Inspired by this old legend and being always obsessed with the beauty and power of wood, in 2023 we've created our signature collection of home decorations FIVE WOODS.
Each ornament has been crafted from several pieces of five different hardwoods, that otherwise would have been thrown away as off-cuts from bigger projects. Instead, we saved them, glued together and shaped into an elegant and modern looking form. The silk-like surface has been thoroughly sanded and treated with natural food grade oil. The wood shavings that are used for packaging, is a product of the same production cycle, so this all comes along as a perfect gift for those who look for sustainability and warmth of natural wood.
